True Blood will air their sixth season on June 16, 2013. Waiting has sucked but little bits of information has made the wait more tolerable. Casting calls and promo trailers have also helped give a glimpse into what we might see in the new season.
A Spanish HBO site has posted the synopsis for the first two episodes for season 6 on the link here: They are not very different from what had been released earlier on this post but just gives a little bit more information. SPOILER WARNING!! Don’t peek unless you want spoiling!!
True Blood season 6 episode 6.01: (translated)
The new Bill threatens with bloodlust. Sookie, Eric, Jason, Jessica, Tara, Pam and Nora must escape The Authority building . While in Bon Temps, Andy deals with the upbringing of his newborn babies who are half human and half fairy.
True Blood season 6 episode 6.02: (translated)
Furious with Governor Burell’s aggression towards vampires, Eric takes a hostage. Sookie begins to understand why Warlow is after her. Meanwhile, Bill tries to synthesize a new type of blood, but must find enough donors.
The prior post on this site showed the following information for the same episodes:
Episode 6.01 – “Who Are You, Really?”
Bill’s bloody reincarnation ushers in a new era for vampires, faeries and humans alike. (Written by Raelle Tucker; directed by Stephen Moyer.) Playdates: June 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20
Episode 6.02 – The Sun
Sookie meets a handsome stranger; Eric takes on the governor; Bill contemplates his new powers. (Written by Angela Robinson; directed by Dan Attias.) Playdates: June 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27
The promo trailers have shown some of the action in the synopsis where yes we do see Eric, Pam, Nora, Sookie, Tara and Jason escaping from The Authority building for the premiere episode. We also see the new incarnation of Bill and it does look like he awakens quite hungry for blood.
We have also seen in the newest trailer “Governor Burrell’s address” laying down the law for vampires and that will cause a lot of problems for them.
In the waiting sucks video featuring Eric Northman we see him questioning Willa Burrell (who tells him of the experiments and other awful acts being performed on Vampires). So the episode synopsis for 6.02 makes sense. I don’t think Eric will stand by and watch the vampires he cares for being harmed.
The new season will be here soon so we will have answers to many of the questions we were left with at the end of season 5.
