NEW YORK, NY – July 6, 2017 – SHOWTIME will celebrate the TWIN PEAKS phenomenon at Comic-Con International: San Diego, bringing together a panel of cast members including Kyle MacLachlan, Tim Roth, Dana Ashbrook, Kimmy Robertson, Everett McGill, Matthew Lillard, James Marshall, Don Murray and Naomi Watts. Moderated by Damon Lindelof (Lost), the TWIN PEAKS panel session will be held on Friday, July 21 at 2:45 p.m. PT in Hall H. Immediately following the panel, select cast members will be available for an autograph signing at the Entertainment Earth Booth (#2343). That same night at 10 p.m. PT in Room 6A, SHOWTIME will host an exclusive first-look screening of Part 11 of TWIN PEAKS, ahead of its SHOWTIME debut on Sunday, July 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The screening is available exclusively to Comic-Con badge holders on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Comic Con Returning Registration Sale Date Set

Comic Con teased that the returning registration sale date was coming. Well they finally announced that the sale date is set for March 11 at 8 am Pacific Time. From their blog:

The Expo Logic waiting room opens at 8:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST). Attendee badges will go on sale shortly after 9:00 AM PST.

Your unique registration code, the Expo Logic waiting room link, and instructions on how to participate will be available in your Comic-Con Member ID account at least 24 hours prior to the sale. Starting March 10, 2017, you may log in to your Member ID account and select the “Registration Info” tab to view your personal registration code and link to the waiting room.

As mentioned in our prior post badges will be shipped to the member address. Make sure your address information is correct in the member ID area to ensure the badge is shipped to your correct address. Again international members will have to pick up their badges in person. Good luck to all returning attendees during the sale. One does not simply just pop into the waiting room unprepared. (seriously it is super stressful but worth all the pain if successful!) The salon March 11 is only for those who attended Comic Con in 2016. The sale date for open registration has not yet been announced.

Comic Con International announced on their Toucan blog that returning registration is coming soon. No dates announced just a tease that the sale for badges for those individuals who attended Comic Con 2016 will be able to purchase badges for 2017.

Their update did include some important information including the prices for badges for 2017 (slight increase over 2016 prices) and also a change in shipping for badges. This year the badges will be shipped directed to the member ID address. Last year the badges were shipped to the purchaser.

Deborah Ann Woll takes “Daredevil” to NYCC

True Blood star Deborah Ann Woll was at New York Comic Con yesterday to attend the Daredevil panel. The cast for the brand new Netflix show includes  Charlie Cox in the title role, and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. Deborah is playing Karen Page.

Daredevil follows the story of Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer, who fights crime as a masked superhero by night.

Comic Con schedule is out for Saturday. Yes True Blood will hold their final Comic Con panel on Saturday 7/26/14. Alexander Skarsgard will not be attending.

Mixing romance, suspense, mystery, and humor, the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated True Blood kicked off its 10-episode seventh and final season June 22 on HBO. The series follows waitress and part-faerie Sookie Stackhouse (Oscar and Golden Globe Award winner Anna Paquin), who can hear people’s thoughts, and vampires Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård). Brian Buckner serves as executive producer of the series, which also features Ryan Kwanten as Jason Stackhouse, Sam Trammell as Sam Merlotte, Rutina Wesley as Tara Thornton, Nelsan Ellis as Lafayette, Deborah Ann Woll as Jessica Hamby,Kristin Bauer van Straten as Pam; Joe Manganiello as Alcide, Carrie Preston as Arlene Bellefleur, and Chris Bauer as Andy Bellefleur, Anna Camp as Sarah Newlin and NathanParsons as James.
