Bankside Films have released a new image and new promo poster from Alexander Skarsgard’s movie War On Everyone which has its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival on February 12th. No word yet on if Alexander will be able to attend, he is currently in LA filming Big Little Lies. Cross your fingers he can make it!

“War On Everyone” to debut at Berlin Film Festival
Alexander Skarsgard’s new movie War On Everyone will receive it’s world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February. It will be the third time that director John McDonagh has brought one of his movies to Berlin.
Fingers crossed that Alexander should have no problems attending the festival, which runs from February 11 to 21, as he is expected in Berlin next year to begin filming his latest project Mute.

“Diary” Wins Berlinale Generation 14plus International Jury Best Film Prize
CONGRATULATIONS to Alexander Skarsgard and everyone involved with “Diary of a Teenage Girl” which today has been awarded a top prize – Best Feature Length Film – at the Berlin Film Festival’s Generations Sidebar (the section of the festival aimed at younger audiences).

The Grand Prix of the Generation 14plus International Jury for the best feature-length film, endowed with € 7,500 by the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (Federal Agency for Civic Education):
The Diary of a Teenage Girl by Marielle Heller, USA 2014With its vibrant cinematic language, including flawless production design, this film reveals an authentic and unique woman discovering her own artistic voice and power, remarkably portrayed by a stunning newcomer. For the superlative characters brought to life by a brilliant ensemble and their director, as well as the uncompromising rejection of conventional morality in favor of human complexity the Grand Prix for the best feature goes to The Diary of a Teenage Girl by Marielle Heller.
This is the second festival prize for “Diary” which also picked up the Cinematography Award at Sundance in January.
“Diary” European Debut on February 7 at Berlinale
“Diary of a Teenage Girl” will make its European debut on Saturday February 7 at Berlinale (Berlin Film Festival). There will also be 2 more showings of the movie on Monday February 9 and Saturday February 15. If you are lucky enough to live around Berlin, the first batch of tickets goes on sale on Monday.
