Stating “On the brink of True Blood season six, we look forward to a future without showrunner Alan Ball, and the big ideas that will shake Bon Temps….”

US Weekly True Blood Season 6 Featured in Look at This

The June 10, 2013 issue of US Weekly featured the photo above showing Rutina Wesley,  Anna Paquin, and Lucy Griffiths in a scene for True Blood’s season 6. It was part of their “Look at This” column in the magazine.

The article states: Where we left off:  High on Lilith’s blood, vamp Bill declared war on the living.

Identity Crisis: “Is he Bill? Is he a vampire god? queries coexec producer Angela Robinson, adding, “There’s hope for him.” Bill’s ex Sookie tries to appeal to his benevolent side….

Getting Busy….adn still finds time to date! Hints Robinson, “She may have a new love interest.” Signs point to fellow faerie Ben (Rob Kazinsky). Meanwhile Tara and Pam find their lusty romance complicated.

Crackdown When the Louisiana governor (Arliss Howard) cuts vamp rights, says Robinson, a defiant Eric “pays dearly”.

Waiting sucks for the new season but it is almost here! The same magazine also featured a   write up and photo from Alex’s film “The East”.

True Blood Season Six Episode Synopsis

True Blood will air their sixth season on June 16, 2013. Waiting has sucked but little bits of information has made the wait more tolerable. Casting calls and promo trailers  have also helped give a glimpse into what we might see in the new season.

A Spanish HBO site has posted the synopsis for the first two episodes for season 6 on the link here: They are not very different from what had been released earlier on this post but just gives a little bit more information. SPOILER WARNING!! Don’t peek unless you want spoiling!!

True Blood season 6 episode 6.01: (translated)

The new Bill threatens with bloodlust. Sookie, Eric, Jason, Jessica, Tara, Pam and Nora must escape The Authority building . While in Bon Temps, Andy deals with the upbringing of his newborn babies who are half human and half fairy.

True Blood season 6 episode 6.02: (translated)

Furious with Governor Burell’s aggression towards vampires, Eric takes a hostage. Sookie begins to understand why Warlow is after her. Meanwhile, Bill tries to synthesize a new type of blood, but must find enough donors.

The prior post on this site showed the following information for the same episodes:

Episode 6.01 – “Who Are You, Really?”
Bill’s bloody reincarnation ushers in a new era for vampires, faeries and humans alike. (Written by Raelle Tucker; directed by Stephen Moyer.) Playdates: June 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20

Episode 6.02 – The Sun
Sookie meets a handsome stranger; Eric takes on the governor; Bill contemplates his new powers. (Written by Angela Robinson; directed by Dan Attias.) Playdates: June 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27

The promo trailers have shown some of the action in the synopsis where yes we do see Eric, Pam, Nora, Sookie, Tara and Jason escaping from The Authority building for the premiere episode. We also see the new incarnation of Bill and it does look like he awakens quite hungry for blood.

We have also seen in the newest trailer “Governor Burrell’s address” laying down the law for vampires and that will cause a lot of problems for them.

In the waiting sucks video featuring Eric Northman we see him questioning Willa Burrell (who tells him of the experiments and other awful acts being performed on Vampires). So the episode synopsis for 6.02 makes sense. I don’t think Eric will stand by and watch the vampires he cares for being harmed.

The new season will be here soon so we will have answers to many of the questions we were left with at the end of season 5.

True Blood Season 6 Governor Burrell’s Speech

Finally a little bit more new footage for True Blood season 6! This speech is part of what I saw filming in February. Sounds like the Governator will be quite a lot of trouble for the vampires on True Blood. Waiting sucks but the new season will be here on June 16, 2013.

here are the screencaps: SPOILERS in the caps!!

True Blood Season Six Episode Eight Title and Casting Call

True Blood episode 6.08 is called “Dead Meat” and 2 co-star roles are being cast: a guard and a bottling plant foreman. A huge thanks to SpoilerFairy for sending the info!! Waiting sucks but the new season is almost here.

Sounds like they are rebuilding the TruBlood factories. A photo last week surfaced that showed Alexander Skarsgard on set filming at a location that is an industrial area (and could pass as a factory). They were also filming on a closed set in the same area later in the week. The photo shows boxes of what could be “TruBlood” :

There are a few songs with this title. Here is a version by Sean Lennon (but I think they might use a more punk version for the episode):

Bush also has a version of the song link here:

Judas Priest has a version here:

Lyrics by Judas Priest:

The hangman’s noose won’t get me
Gas chambers never stress me
The can line me up against the wall

No firing squad will make me
Confess or even break me
I’ll stand alone or not at all

I will not obey
I will not betray
I will not give in
Not while I’m living

No surrender
We never will surrender

We are all dead meat
Cut us, watch us bleed

No shackles made will chain me
No endless pain will change me
The scars will testify this all

No solitary confinement
Will break my strong resignment
I’ll die before I will conform
I will not obey
I will not betray
I will not give in
Not while I’m living

No surrender
There’ll never be surrender

We are all dead meat
Cut us, watch us bleed
Read in my obituary
Defiance breeds victory

No cage they make can hold me
No law enforced controls me
No trap that’s sprung stops me for long

No prison cell contains me
No snare they set will claim me
Relentlessly I’ll fight them all

I will not obey
I will not betray
I will not give in
Not while I’m living

No surrender
We never will
Be driven asunder
No surrender
We never will
Raise the white flag
We are all dead meat
Cut us, watch us bleed
We are all dead meat
Cut us, watch us bleed

Will never
Suppress me
They’re seriously mistaken
Cause I’ll take them
Down with me
And just before they’re finished
They’ll scream
Along with me

We are all dead meat

New True Blood Season Six Poster

True Blood finally released a season 6 poster shown above. No One Lives Forever is the tag line and it features a blurry image of a vampire. Just which one it is we can’t tell yet (but it looks like Bill Compton to me). Source:

The season six will air on June 16, 2013. Waiting has sucked but the new season is almost here!!

A lucky fan was able to get a photo of Alexander Skarsgard filming for the new season of True Blood (they were filming on location) Hopefully this will help end some of the many rumors surrounding Eric’s future on the show. Pretty sure they are filming the final episodes for this season and Eric still looks pretty “undead” in the photo:
