True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 Episode Title and Casting Call

TBS6 eric

A new title and casting call for True Blood’s ninth episode is out:

True Blood episode 6.09 will be called “Life Matters” and a few co-star roles are being cast, including a crazy vampire, a sickly vampire, and a male vampire who is the sickly vampire’s progeny.

Source: SpoilerTV

The sickly vampire call makes me think that perhaps the human war on vampires might include the design of a blood virus that could affect vampires. That or perhaps Hep D makes a reappearance on the show (it was mentioned in season 1).

True Blood Season 6 Episode Seven Title and Casting Call

detail

The sixth season of True Blood will premiere on Sunday June 16, 2013 and news has slowly been dripping out. The seventh episode for the new season will be titled “Funeral”. Spoiler TV posted the following information also on a casting call:
Episode 6.07 of True Blood is called, “The Funeral.” There will be a flashback to 1665 and the Plague, and the role of King Charles II is being cast. In the present day, there will be a scene set in a Tru Blood factory. Also, we’ll meet Nicole’s mother, Mary, who will recur in 2 episodes.

Source: SpoilerTV

It’s interesting to see that there will be a scene in a Tru Blood factory. They were all destroyed in season 5 or so I thought? Hopefully they are in the process of restoring the factories or the vampires will be in even more trouble. Rumors have already surfaced that there is an upcoming “war”.

Pretty sure that the actions of the vampires from season 5 will cause major issues for them this season. The humans will not stand for any more of their bloodshed. (the character of the Governor was listed as being pretty much “anti-vampire” so he will most likely make things very rough for the vampires of Louisiana)

Lyrics:

Lyrics to Don’t You Feel Me :
Whenever we’re not together
In days of sunshine or stormy weather
Don’t you feel me loving you? You?

In the sunlight or the moonlight
In the dark night when the times right
Don’t you feel me loving you? You?

You. You.
You. You.

In the sunlight or the moonlight
In the dark night when the times right

DSC_0236
Spoiler TV posted the following casting call for True Blood season 6:

A sexy, dangerous vampire named Violet will be part of a love triangle in seasons 6 & 7. (Looks like she’ll be the 3rd side of the love triangle involving Jason and the other new vampire, Wes; unless of course there’s gonna be more than one triangle, or the triangle turns into a square or something.)

Source: SpoilerTV

Another love triangle on the show?? Did they not learn from the other ones? Oh well. Waiting sucks. I’ll post the expanded casting call once I get it. To see all the casting calls to date for season 6 of True Blood please visit this page:

UPDATE:  More information from Michael Ausiello regarding the character of Violet:

Question: I long for hot weather when vampires and werewolves take their clothes off! Any True Blood scoop? —Jenilee
Ausiello: Yep — I can tell you with whom those vampires and werewolves will be stripping down! She’s Violet, a hot-as-hell, tough-as-nails blood-sucker in, give or take, her 600s (though she’ll look about 25). Not only do I hear that she’ll be mixed up in a major love triangle, the role will go from recurring this season to series regular the next. Got casting tips? Hit the comments!

True Blood Season Six Casting Call New Vampire

306626_10151169597713563_1570221439_n

Spoiler TV posted the following casting call plus a hint that this new character will survive season 6 and go on for a season 7 of the show (first time I’ve seen that True Blood will go past season 6 – great news for fans!)

Beginning in episode 6.06, there will be a new recurring vampire on True Blood named Wes! He was turned in the 1970s when he was in his mid 20′s. His ethnicity isn’t specified. He’s sexy, smart, compassionate, protective, and plays the guitar. He’s going to be involved in a love triangle with Jason and another vampire (hmmm… sounds like it could be Jessica, but the “other vampire” isn’t named). Wes will be a strong recurring role in season 6 and a regular in season 7 – so we know he “survives” season 6 – and some rear nudity is involved.

True Blood Season 6 Casting Call Update: Ben

Finally found the full casting call information for the character of “Ben”. This character for True Blood’s season 6 will be played by actor Rob Kazinsky.  Note there is no mention of his character being a love interest for Sookie in the call.

[BEN] Mid 20s to mid 30s. Ultra charming, ultra handsome. …The kind of guy women and men are completely drawn to, but possess[es] a low-key quality, a southern gentility that Sookie would find familiar and comfortable. His dark side, however, is dark, dark, dark.”

Just wanted to clarify the earlier post that had said the he was a ‘love interest’ for Sookie.

True Blood Season 6 Spoiler Another New Character

TV LIne gave a True Blood tidbit today:

Question: Looking for some tidbits, morsels or anything on True Blood. I love your site and check it out daily. — Scotty Ausiello: Thanks, Scotty! This summer, Bon Temps’ vampire population will face something that’s potentially even more dangerous than the sun: Crate & Barrel! I’m sorry, I mean Creighton Burrell. Not only is the new regular character a morally murky politician — and the governor of Louisiana! — but he also has a major hate-on for fangers, owing to the fact that his wife ditched him with their daughter to be with one!

SOURCE:

Sounds like more trouble for the vampires on the show. Not sure we need any more of that especially after last season and the big mess caused by Russell Edginton! So what do you think of the ‘governor”? In the earlier casting call posted 10/6/12 there was a call for the governor of Texas. Sounds like they are planning some type of big meet up of the local governors. Hmmm a summit perhaps?

True Blood Season 6 Spoiler Casting Call Series Regular-UPDATE

Zap2it has posted a new True Blood season 6 casting call for a new series regular:

“True Blood” fans have to wait until Season 6 begins this summer to return to Bon Temps — though no official start date has been announced, we’re hearing June is a good bet. In the meantime, we’ve got an intriguing spoiler to tide you over! This week, new showrunner Mark Hudis sent out a casting call for a brand new character — and she’s going to be a major player in the upcoming 10-episode season.

The “True Blood” team is looking for a Caucasian actress in her early 20s to play Nicole Jannsen. A “do-gooder to the core” Nicole is naive, optimistic, and charming — but her idealism is “ultimately vaguely idiotic and dangerous.”

Nicole is a key member of a band of well-meaning liberal advocates. The gang models itself after the civil rights activist Freedom Riders of the 1960s, a group of progressive protesters who rode buses from state to state, challenging racial segregation and Jim Crow travel laws. The Freedom Riders were usually arrested, and fell victim to mob violence, Ku Klux Klan beatings, and cruel and unusual punishment in prison.

Don’t expect a secret agenda from Nicole, who will appear as a new series regular character this season. “A true bleeding heart,” Nicole is “not at all concerned with money; she’s concerned with the common good and doing what’s right … Life hasn’t beaten her down yet.” If you’re still not getting a clear picture, the casting call suggests that she went to Bryn Mawr College and drives an old Saab.

SOURCE:

So what do you think of this new character?

UPDATE: 12/1/12 Here is the information from the official casting call for this character:

[NICOLE JANNSEN] Bi-Racial (African American / Caucasian) Mid 20s. A true bleeding heart. She’s not at all concerned with money, she’s concerned with the common good and doing what’s right. Probably went to Bryn Mawr and drives an old Saab. Life hasn’t beaten her down yet. She and her band of well-meaning liberal advocates model themselves after the civil rights activist “Freedom Riders” of the Sixties. A do-gooder to the core, Nicole’s naive optimism is charming but ultimately vaguely idiotic and dangerous…SERIES REGULAR

True Blood Buzz: True Blood Character Lillith First Vampire

TV Guide Mega Buzz posted a tidbit on Season 5 character : Lillith

What’s coming up on True Blood— John
NATALIE:
You know that creepy story we heard this week about Lilith, the first vampire, for whom Adam and Eve were supposedly created as food? Well, guess what? We’ll actually meet her this season — but not everyone will believe that she is who she says she is. “I don’t know if Roman believes it,” Christopher Meloni tells us. “He puts on the garb of a spiritual leader, possibly with a wink and a certain cynicism, so he’s willing to take that bet now that [she] isn’t real.”

SOURCE:

There was a casting call for a character named “Lil” for episode 5.07: titled “In the Beginning”

[LIL] Female, early to late 20s, Caucasian. She’s supermodel beautiful. Strong and ethereal…no lines in the first episode. FULL FRONTAL NUDITY REQUIRED.

Sounds like yes we may be seeing Lillith in episode 5.07! Can’t wait.
