When Season 4 of The Walking Dead ended with our heroes locked inside a train car at the hand of the Terminus residents, the cliffhanger was almost too much to bear. But, as Nerdist News’s Jessica Chobot, Dan Casey and Malik Forté find out in the latest installment from Nerdist Presents, the suspense of waiting for Rick Grimes to speak may just be deadlier than the virus itself. Hulk, baby, we’re gonna make you a star!

Nerdist Presents is coming in hot with its latest sketch, Superhero Talent Agents. Cameras head inside the high-rise, high-powered offices of the Superhero Talent Agency (STA) for a look at what it’s really like to represent the world’s greatest superheroes. With cameos from an over-the-hill Golden Age Flash and an agitated Deadpool, David Neher (Community, New Girl) and Madeline Walter (CollegeHumor Originals) are exactly what you would hope for in a Super-Agent as they go to bat for their heavy-hitting clients while always looking out for numero uno…themselves. Nerdist Presents Batman’s Parents Aren’t Dead

Screen Shot 2014-09-10 at 8-1.37.07 AM

What happens when the entire premise of a superhero’s persona comes waltzing into his living room? Let’s find out together, shall we?

The first episode of the new sketch series, Nerdist Presents, has arrived...as have Batman’s parents! In this hilarious sketch written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker (creators and writers of The Thrilling Adventure Hour) and directed by Andrew Bowser, the gravel-voiced Dark Knight is surprised to find that his supposedly dead parents are very much alive. Take a seat in Wayne Manor as Thomas and Martha Wayne, played by Marc Evan Jackson and Paget Brewster non-chalantly reminisce about ‘little Bruce’ while Batman…err, The Batman (Mark Gagliardi)…has to grapple with the fact that his entire vendetta is unfounded. Just your average, oops-I-thought-my-parents-were-murdered-so-I-became-a-masked-vigilante, dysfunctional family!

New one-off sketches, videos, and parodies from Nerdist Presents will premiere bi-weekly on Wednesdays, taking on everything from Doctor Who, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and more – only on Nerdist.com!
