Jim Parrack “Riddance” Film Trailer

True Blood fans will be able to see their very own Jim Parrack (Hoyt Fortenberry) in his upcoming film titled “Riddance”. The video is below:

The film description states:

A dramatic, psychological thriller about two people hiding away from the world in a cabin in the woods. But one of them has a secret that will affect them tragically before night’s end.

Looks like a great thriller. Can’t wait to see Jim in the film.

Movie poster (even the poster is dark!!)

True Blood Ep. 58 Promo Video “Unexpected Guest” and “We Meet Again”

HBO posted 2 more videos for episode 5.10 for True Blood “Gone, Gone, Gone”. The Bloody Romance video was pulled from YouTube. Here is the HBO video. Showing Mike Spencer making a visit to Sookie’s home. (does not bode well..)

The second clip features Jessica and Jason at Merlotte’s. Hoyt is shown at the very end of the clip:

Working on the screencaps! Will add to this post as soon as done. Waiting sucks! So what do you think is going to happen right after the action in these clips? Looks like Mike Spencer may have known more about the death of Sookie’s parents. Hoyt also looks like he has a lot on his mind in the second clip.

Screencaps for “Unexpected Guest”. Notice Mike’s shadow on Sookie’s porch. Pretty creepy how he was on the porch. Looked like he was trying to see if anyone else was in the house with Sookie once he entered.

Here are the screencaps for the “We Meet Again” promo clip. Sounds like Jess no longer has any guards. (no money to pay them). Jason seems concerned for her. It was good to see Hoyt at the very end of the clip.

New Video Trailers for True Blood Episode 45

HBO released 3 more video trailers for episode 4.09 “Lets Get Out of Here”.

True Blood Speculations For Spellbound

Yes the new episode is almost here for True Blood. Episode 4.08 is titled “Spellbound” and I do believe this episode will leave fans very spellbound by the action.

The episode summary teases fans with this:

Episode #44 – 4.08: ‘Spellbound’  As Bill and Marnie brace for a dangerous midnight faceoff, Sookie and Eric pledge their allegiance to the King. Jason is torn between friendship and passion, and Jessica is spurned from two homes; Lafayette becomes the pawn of a tormented spirit; Tommy takes a walk in someone else’s shoes; Sam contends with yet another adversary in Marcus, Luna’s ex and the leader of Alcide’s new pack.

photo gallery for this episode is found here: (right now the images in the galleries are from the 4 trailers for 4.08 )

Here are some of my musings and speculations using the trailers and screencap images (and a little ninja guessing on my part). SPOILER ALERT Yes the screencaps may be spoilerish and my specualtions my also “ruin” the action so don’t look if you don’t want to be spoiled!

Bill and MarniA Midnight Fangoff

What the heck was King BIll thinking when he sets up a meeting with Marnie? We hear Bill setting up the meeting in the cemetery in the trailer.(from his limo on the way to meet with the news reporter)  We also see Tara and MarniA at the Moon Goddess and MarniA is throwing a witchy fit over the fact that only ONE VAMPIRE DIED due to her spell. (so fans Baby Vamp Jessica is not dead) She is incredulous that the spell only produced such meager results. Tara seems to be a bit confused (earth to Tara honey…this is one p-o’ed witch with a big ole revenge plan to kill all vampires RUN away NOW)

Sounds like the deal between King Bill and MarniA for the meeting to be go alone. Yeah right…You try to have all vampires killed and we believe that both sides are going to “behave”. heck no. Both sides go in packing “heat”. The witches will have their “magic” and the vampires will have their fangs and human guard with big ole guns. We do see the AVL guards that protect King Bill. (looks like they have their lasers pointed at MarniA). Those big bad guns I fear may result in an innocent victim (more on that further down).

This scene will most likely be the ending for 4.08. Of course we will be teased this week! The episode is also due to end with quite a “bang” and during the Comic Con panel fans saw a trailer which showed a human being “shot”.

It is interesting to see the interaction between Eric, Sookie and King Bill. This is not your battle (says King Bill to Sookie) to which Eric replies “this is not OUR decision”. So it sounds like Eric is letting Sookie make the choice for herself.

I believe that Eric will do his best to take down the witches by fang if needed. He is shown taking a nip out of Roy (looks like him). Somehow though MarniA gets her hand on Eric and that does not bode well for Eric. Perfect timing by MarniA. This is probably why Eric can not get to Sookie after she is hurt (instead Alcide will carry Sookie to safety).

UPDATE: Even looks like King Bill is at risk! (I still think that glove looks a lot like the one worn by the weres. (could be Debbie Pelt? or Marcus) but the silvering may also be for episode 4.09

The screencap below is from episode 4.05. Marcus visits Alcide to see why he has not checked into the pack. Note Marcus’ glove. Looks a lot like the one doing the silvering above.

Eric and Sookie Pledging!

Eric and Sookie are also at the meeting in the cemetary (along with Pam). Notice Eric's shirt. No blood on it yet....

The episode summary : Eric and Sookie pledge their allegiance to the King. This will be how they will stand by the King to help with the MarniA mess.

I spy Shower Scene action in 4.08 TCA video screencap. Yikes Yahoo YUM

Of course that will not be the ONLY thing they will do in this episode. Oh yeah. You know what scene I’m speculating about. We had a few hints on that one a while ago!! Link here to post 4/26/11: Inside TB gave us a few “hints”. Yes fans I do believe Spellbound will have True Blood fans very Spellbound by the “shower scene” between Eric and Sookie. (mind you there will probably be another “shower scene” in 4.09 but that one will be a dream sequence). In the Charlaine Harris book, Dead to the World the infamous shower scene preceded the first time Eric and Sookie have sex. Basically the Viking and Sookie forever change the way any book readers see the “shower” again.

In the show Eric and Sookie have already had sex (lots and lots of sex) but we have not yet see Eric taking any blood from Sookie. All fang free sex fun for him. (and her). I have a feeling that in 4.08 Eric may finally have another taste of Sookie but very willingly on her part this time. Eric has not been seen taking any blood at all since his amnesia. Perhaps during the shower scene Sookie lets him have a taste or perhaps to help make him strong for battle. Sookie’s part Fae blood may have a strong effect on Eric so perhaps they are playing it safe.

Jason Still Sweet on Jess

Well Jason may not have shifted into a were panther but he still is part tom cat/hound dog. Yes since ingesting Jessica’s blood Jason is experiencing a lot of fantasies where Jess is the star (ok and a little bit of Hoyt also thrown in just to ick Jason out). We saw Jason running to Jessica’s rescue at the end of episode 4.07. Perhaps to help Jessica recover from the severe burns Jason offers more of his blood to her. Jess is already having doubts about her relationship with Hoyt. The blood exchange will not help matters at all!

Jessica Spurned! (aka she has her invite rescinded!)

In the screencap above we do see Jessica having her invitation rescinded by Hoyt (she is seen going backwards). Perhaps the second home she is kicked out of is Jason’s? Jason is Hoyt’s best friend and will probably have a rough time of making the choice.

Screencap from TCA trailer

This image does look like Jessica may move past the just friends stage with Jason. (looks like Jason’s truck) If the truck’s a rocking, don’t come a knocking! Whatever happens I will miss seeing Hoyt and Jessica together. Yes they had a special first love relationship. So many fans keep saying how special first loves are and how you never forget them. Yes that may be true but if a relationship does not grow it can not survive. The ability to survive the “growing pains” are what keep relationships alive!

Either way Hoyt does seem very upset. (this image is probably when he finds about Jessica burning in the sun)

This is not all of the episode mind you just some of the main parts of the upcoming episode.

Yes we will see Lafayette deal with the benevolent (but troubled) spirit of Mavis. Sam will get a whipping from Marcus (Luna’s ex). Alcide will still pine away for Sookie (another romantic triangle we really don’t need on the show) Debbie Pelt will be even more jealous of Sookie and perhaps will start to relapse into her old V drinking ways.

Waiting still sucks! UPDATE: It’s SUNDAY Finally!!

Yes-fans have waited for shower scene! Per Alan Ball:

“There is a shower scene,” explains exec producer Alan Ball. “But it is not a direct re-enactment of the shower scene in the book. It goes to a slightly different place.” Emphasis onslightly. “Sookie and Eric are in the shower together,” confirms Ball, who assures me that, “Everybody who’s been waiting for Sookie and Eric to hook up, this will be a very good season for them.”

I’m calling a “femoral artery” bite on Sookie tonight by Eric! Oh and I do believe we may see a new “position” perhaps of the “numeric” kind between Eric and Sookie. Spoilers from EW have said best posterior view yet tonight of Eric! So WAITING REALLY SUCKS!!

This magazine photo of Alex seems perfect for this upcoming scene:

here are the posts where most of the screencaps appear:

PaleyFest True Blood Trailer Video

HBO posted another teaser video! This one features Hoyt dealing with the protesters outside of Fangtasia. (this is the video that was shown to fans at PaleyFest).

What I find curious are the signs that some of the protesters are holding up. It looks like they say “Where is Steve Newlin”. Could something have happened to the Reverend? Image below:

Battle: Los Angeles Trailer Video

Jim Parrack’s upoming film “Battle: Los Angeles” has a new theatrical video trailer on yahoo. Link here: In addition to True Blood’s Jim Parrack, the film features Michelle Rodgriguez and Aaron Eckhart. The film is set to have a March 11, 2011 release in the US.

Director Jonathan Liebesman spoke with Fear.net during ComicCon July 2010. Below is an excerpt from that interview:

We just chatted with the man behind what look to be the biggest, most ambitious attempt to depict alien warfare as urban combat here on Earth. Director Jonathan Liebesman is the mastermind behind Battle: Los Angeles. Find out what Liebesman told us about the gore factor in his film, and just how brutal his aliens will be, after the jump.

How gritty are the aliens?

They’re super gritty, they’re gory, they kill without remorse, they murder people on the street, they’re essentially like genocidal Nazis that invade and have zero remorse or compassion.

Are there different kinds of aliens?

Yes, the aliens are like a real army there are medics, generals, lieutenants.

Are there different species?

No they’re all from the same species.
