It’s that time of year again when every man , woman and dog on the internet decides to give us their best and worst from the last 12 months of entertainment. And Alexander Skarsgard already features on a couple of the lists.
Firstly Eric Northman and Jason Stackhouse take 2nd place in Buzzfeed’s 29 Hottest TV Sex Scenes of 2014 for Jason’s dream of the Viking Vampire in True Blood 7.02. It wasn’t exactly the Stackhouse most of us had been hoping would get down and dirty with Eric in the show’s final season, but it certainly was one of the highlights from Bon Temps this year.
True Blood season 7 is in full swing. The upcoming episode promo for “Fire in the Hole” aired after last night’s episode. A lot of changes ahead for the citizens of Bon Temps and also our favorite vampires. Continue reading →
The second episode of True Blood’s final season aired tonight. The long awaited dream sequence with Jason and Eric was finally aired (all too short of course) Continue reading →
While the mistress of this site is away on vacation, I get to play on the site and write a review for the first episode of the sixth season of True Blood. Hold on to your hats! Continue reading →
Wishing all the True Blood and Alex fans out there a Happy Valentine’s Day. True Blood posted several “valentine’s” on their Facebook page. (using different quotes from the show)
Theis one features Jason Stackhouse:
Alcide:
My favorite from Pam (season 5):
Of course Eric Northman will always hold our hearts: (season 4 his famous “heart-shake” scene)
Here’s a new photo of Alexander Skarsgard to help start off your Valentine’s Day. Alex attended the New Museum opening of “NYC 1993: Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star” last night in New York City. 2/13/13.
The gallery below has more images from the NYC event last night:
True Blood season 5 ended last Sunday. Yes this is the first Sunday in a while that fans do not have a new episode to enjoy. Still recovering from the finale fangover? Well here are a few favorite True Blood quotes to make the wait less painful:
The image above has one of my favorite quotes from Vampire Pam. She has had over the seasons some of the best quotes ever! The one featured in the image:
“My mad face and my happy face are the same” is one of my favorites from season 5. Kristin’s delivery and timing make it extra sarcastic and oh so enjoyable to hear her say it!
These quotes below are from the Season 5 Finale: “Save Yourself”:
Pam: “Must all roads lead to f—cking Sookie?
Andy: “Her kind don’t welp in the hospital.” (little did Andy know that Maurella would really be having that many babies!)
Arlene: “Who knew watching an alien give birth could be so comforting?”
Lafayette: (to Arlene): “It’s always the weird stuff that’s the best.”
Eric: Oh sweetie dont be a fool.
Jason: If I want to be a fool then I will be a fool! That is my God given right as an American!
This exchange between Eric and Jason was my favorite from the finale:
Jason: Before things what, spin out of control? That train has already sailed.
Jason Stackhouse has had his fair share of funny quotes. You have to love a character that can say what he says and not crack himself up.
Rosalyn complains about Bill and Salome: “Compton and Salome are off buttering each others’ biscuits half the time.”
Bill: “I told you, the first night we ever met: Vampires often turn on those they love the most.”
Pam said this in the season 5 premiere: “I’m wearing a Walmart sweatsuit for y’all. If that’s not a demonstration of team spirit, I don’t know what is.” (the sweat suit she wore for the episode was recently auctioned for the “Out of Africa” charity and raised over $1000!)
Pam has had some of the best quotes this season. Would love to hear some of your favorites from the show. These were just a few of the many quotes in the finale.
Fans who have HBO Go were able to see the special “sneak peek” clip after the True Blood Season 5 Finale. The video is available below. This leaves us with even more questions. (as if that were even possible!).
After viewing this clip last night I had a few more questions come to mind:
Didn’t it look like Jason thought about shooting all the vampires with him in the elevator for a few seconds? I’m glad he did not. But there is a part of him now that really hates vampires. He did help get Pam and Jessica out of the Authority jail and helped Eric.
How does Nora know Warlow?
Is Warlow some type of ‘vampire tale’ that is told to scare vampires? (like a boogey man??) Might be that Nora has knowledge of him from being with the Authority.
Will Pam and Tara have that hot date in season 6 (oh yes..more scenes where Pam will say “lay back and think of “Nawlins”/Bon Temps”)
Sookie says she they’ll join them when things are safe for them. Is it safe from the vampire guards? Or is it safe from the newly resurrected “Bill” (or Billith as many are calling him now).
As if waiting were hard enough after that finale the wait will be even tougher. In an effort to help fans cope , I’ll post a daily “fangover” entry to help in the ‘recovery’ process. Waiting sucks but it sucks less with fellow fans all going through the same thing.
Here’s a transcript of what goes on in the video:
Full transcript…
[Elevator doors close]
Jessica, to Jason: Jason, she’s going to be OK.
[Jason’s zoned out. He ain’t listening.]
Nora: We don’t have time for this. They’ll be waiting for us up there.
[Everyone preps their weapons.]
Tara, to Pam: You better not go and get yourself killed, you hear? ‘Cause you and I’ve got a date. It’s been a long time coming
Pam: If that’s not an impetus to survive, I don’t know what is.
[Hot.]
[Jason rocks back and forth like a crazy person. In an “interactive feature,” we can see that the parentals are using elevator time to feed him a little nonsense. Dad: “You got 11 of them, champ. We counted.” Mom: “Eleven soul-less fangers dead for good. I’m so proud of you.” Dad: “You just keep taking them out until you get that motherf–ker Warlow.” Mom: “Language!” Dad: “You’ve got four of them here. Easy pickin’s.”]
Jessica, to Jason: You OK, Jason?
[Jason looks around the elevator, still lost in his parents’ words. He looks like he could shoot everyone in the elevator at any second. The elevator doors open just in time.]
Vamps: [threatening hiss as they prep for battle.]
[The room seems empty…then a vamp goes for them. BAM! Jason gets it. And they start to go up a staircase.]

HBO posted on their True Blood page:
Psst! Watch the Season 5 finale with Interactive Features at HBOGO.com or on your iPad to see a bonus scene teasing Season 6.
The image above shows Sookie and Jason! Looks like they are outside of the “Stake House” location?
HBO posted the new True Blood season finale image shown above on Facebook. I spy Eric Northman, Nora and Tara with Jason!! Yes that looks like it is Sookie’s house (ok technically it’s still Eric’s) I had a feeling he would be heading to Sookie’s home! Keeping my fingers crossed he is able to take care of Russell and get Sookie safely home! Seeing Tara there also makes me believe that Eric will also save Pam!
HBO also has this twitter campaign going on. If there are 100,000 tweets sent out using this hashtag #SaveYourself a new promo video for the finale “Save Yourself” will be released! So get out there and TWEET!!
Here’s what they wrote:
100,000 #SaveYourself tweets unlock a SNEAK PEEK at the finale: http://itsh.bo/TSacqq
HBO posted 2 more videos for episode 5.10 for True Blood “Gone, Gone, Gone”. The Bloody Romance video was pulled from YouTube. Here is the HBO video. Showing Mike Spencer making a visit to Sookie’s home. (does not bode well..)
Working on the screencaps! Will add to this post as soon as done. Waiting sucks! So what do you think is going to happen right after the action in these clips? Looks like Mike Spencer may have known more about the death of Sookie’s parents. Hoyt also looks like he has a lot on his mind in the second clip.
Screencaps for “Unexpected Guest”. Notice Mike’s shadow on Sookie’s porch. Pretty creepy how he was on the porch. Looked like he was trying to see if anyone else was in the house with Sookie once he entered.

Here are the screencaps for the “We Meet Again” promo clip. Sounds like Jess no longer has any guards. (no money to pay them). Jason seems concerned for her. It was good to see Hoyt at the very end of the clip.
