LOS ANGELES – July 1, 2019 – CBS Television Studios will kick off San Diego Comic-Con㈢ with exclusive world premiere screenings of its new series EVIL for CBS and NANCY DREW for The CW on Thursday, July 18. As previously announced, cast and producers of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS and STAR TREK: PICARD will beam into HALL H for a first-ever “Star Trek” universe back-to-back panel block on Saturday, July 20.

“EVIL” EXCLUSIVE SCREENING AND PANEL 12:45-2:00 PM – EVIL is a psychological mystery that examines the origins of evil along the dividing line between science and religion. Their job is to assess if there’s a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work. TBS Brings Snowpiercer to Comic-Con® International with an All-Star Panel and Exclusive First Look at the Series Premiere
June 27, 2019 – TBS, a division of WarnerMedia Entertainment, is bringing its highly anticipated sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer to San Diego for Comic-Con® International 2019. On Saturday, July 20, TBS will present a panel featuring stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Lena Hall, Steven Ogg and executive producer and showrunner Graeme Manson in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront. The session will include an exclusive first look at the series premiere, which will debut in Spring of 2020 on TBS.

Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe. Television Group (WBTVG) joins in the celebration of Comic-Con® as it turns 50 this year, rolling out the red carpet in grand style for this historic milestone as stars and producers from 16 of the Studio’s fan-favorite series are scheduled to participate in Comic-Con International: San Diego from July 17–21. The 2019 edition of the world’s largest comic and pop culture festival will feature the final SDCC appearances of long-running hit WBTV series Arrow and Supernatural, as well as the world premiere screenings of highly anticipated DCTV series Batwoman and Pennyworth, plus the revival of Veronica Mars.

Warner Bros. Television highlights include:

  • Farewell to Arrow and Supernatural: Fans attending Comic-Con will have their last chance to celebrate long-running hit series Arrow and Supernatural as they make their final appearances at SDCC: Arrow on Saturday in Ballroom 20 and Supernatural in its traditional Sunday slot in Hall H.
  • Preview Night/World Premieres of Batwoman, Pennyworth and More: SDCC will be the place for world premiere screenings of the Arrow-verse’s newest DC Super Hero drama Batwoman (in advance of its Sunday, October 6, premiere at 8/7c on The CW) and DC origin story Pennyworth (prior to its Sunday, July 28, debut at 10/9c on EPIX) on preview night, Wednesday, July 17. WBTVG will also feature an advance sneak peek of the pilot episode for the highly anticipated FOX dramatic thriller Prodigal Son, starring Tom Payne and Michael Sheen. Her Universe Fashion Show Set for Comic Con 2019

WITH “THE POWER OF FASHION” THEME
DreamWorks Animation’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power takes center stage, Junior Designers
shine with Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe
The 6th annual Her Universe Fashion Show returns to San Diego Comic-Con International (SDCC). Critically acclaimed as one of the must-see events at SDCC, 24 designers will compete with their original geek couture designs to win the ultimate prize – the opportunity to collaborate with actress and Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano, Star Wars) on a Her Universe fashion collection for Hot Topic. Presented by Her Universe, Hot Topic and DreamWorks Animation’s She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, this year’s highly anticipated show will be held on Thursday, July 18 at 6PM in the Harbor Ballroom of the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel.
 
Hosted by Ashley Eckstein, the theme for this year’s show is “The Power of Fashion.” In the spirit of the critically acclaimed series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, the designs competing in this year’s show will be inspired by powerful characters, stories and themes. Many surprises are in store but the audience can expect that fashion will make a powerful statement on the runway.
 
Two winners will be chosen, one by the audience and one by an expert panel of judges. Joining this year’s judges panel are Ed LaBay (VP/GMM, Hot Topic), Liz Muñoz (CEO, Torrid), Lisa Baldzicki (VP Parks Merchandise & Product Development, Disney Parks), Meghan Camarena (@Strawburry17, Producer, Host, Actress), Merit Leighton (Voice of Frosta, on She-Ra and the Princesses of Power), Michaela Dietz (Actress, Voice of Amethyst, Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe), Kristi Siedow Thompson (Designer, 2018 Audience Winner), Cynthia Kirkland (Designer, 2018 Judge’s Winner) and Jane Burson (Designer, 2018 Singer Sewing Winner). 
 
The Cartoon Network Junior Design Showcase will also return to The Her Universe Fashion Show. Her Universe and Cartoon Network held a competition for Junior Designers between the ages of 6-17, and the winners will showcase their Steven Universe-inspired designs when they hit the runway. The winners of the Cartoon Network Junior Design Contest will also design a collection with Her Universe for BoxLunch in 2020.
 
This year’s content sponsor will be The Pop Insider and they will bring everything about the Fashion Show and pop culture news to one place. Espionage Cosmetics, leading nerd makeup company and self-proclaimed “nerd misfits,” will return as the hair and makeup sponsor to create the looks for the Her Universe runway models.Check-in begins at 1PM on Thursday, July 18th in the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel Harbor Ballroom, and doors open at 5:15PM, with the show beginning at 6PM. SYFY’s Van Helsing Returns to San Diego Comic-Con on

LOS ANGELES, CA – June 25, 2019 – The cast of SYFY’s action horror series Van Helsing is once again heading to San Diego Comic-Con to give fans an exclusive first-look at the upcoming fourth season. Bringing a bevy of new blood to their panel, series stars Kelly Overton,Jonathan Scarfe, Christopher Heyerdahl, Tricia Helfer, Neal McDonough, Aleks Paunovic, Jennifer Cheon Garcia, Keeya King and Nicole Munoz will join Van Helsing showrunner Jonathan Lloyd Walker and executive producers Mike Frislev and Chad Oakes to dish out what’s in store for the explosive new season in a Q&A moderated by Bevin from Den of Geek.  The Van Helsing panel is slated for Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 11:15 – 12:15 pm in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel.
