Alexander Skarsgard’s new movie War On Everyone will receive it’s world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February. It will be the third time that director John McDonagh has brought one of his movies to Berlin.
Fingers crossed that Alexander should have no problems attending the festival, which runs from February 11 to 21, as he is expected in Berlin next year to begin filming his latest project Mute.
The Berlin Film Festival is now over and its currently unclear when we are going to hear any more about Alexander Skarsgard’s critically acclaimed movie “Diary of a Teenage Girl”. So we thought we just post some final festival buzz ……..

The Diary of a Teenage Girl by Marielle Heller, USA 2014
With its vibrant cinematic language, including flawless production design, this film reveals an authentic and unique woman discovering her own artistic voice and power, remarkably portrayed by a stunning newcomer. For the superlative characters brought to life by a brilliant ensemble and their director, as well as the uncompromising rejection of conventional morality in favor of human complexity the Grand Prix for the best feature goes to The Diary of a Teenage Girl by Marielle Heller.
This is the second festival prize for “Diary” which also picked up the Cinematography Award at Sundance in January.
“Diary of a Teenage Girl” will make its European debut on Saturday February 7 at Berlinale (Berlin Film Festival). There will also be 2 more showings of the movie on Monday February 9 and Saturday February 15. If you are lucky enough to live around Berlin, the first batch of tickets goes on sale on Monday.
