A very lucky fan who took some great photographs of Alexander Skarsgard when he was in New York City to ring the Nasdaq opening bell published the rest of her photos. (the image above is one of my favorite ones!) Huge thanks to M-brushfire fairy for the great images. Her blog is called charity4suckers and she is on a mission to create change one blood sucker at a time. (she donates money to the charities of the fave cast who play vampires). Online volunteer registration has opened up for Comic Con 2012. Just received an email with the following instructions:

Online volunteer registration is now open! Space is limited so please follow the direction below to apply today:

and login to your Member ID account.

At the bottom of the “Member ID Change Menu” you will see a Volunteer button next to “Volunteer for Comic-Con 2012″. (Image above shows what the screen looks like) Click this button and complete your application. You do not have to enter your contact information as we already have that information on file from your Member ID account.

When volunteer registration closes, the Volunteer Department staff will go through the applications and prioritize first by returning volunteers, then by new volunteer applicants (starting with earliest date/time stamp). Confirmations will be sent to those who are accepted into the program within 10 business days. “Not Accepted” notices will also be sent within 10 business days.

When the casting news for the new True Blood character of Kibwe was published it mentioned how his character would be “mainstreaming under Roman’s tenure”. link here:  It was speculated that perhaps “Roman” was the character being portrayed by Christopher Meloni. When it was released that True Blood’s fifth season would feature the former Detective Stabler no name was given for his character. In addition, a casting call was never released for his character. So much mystery surrounding this “powerful Vampire leader of The Authority”. TVLine stated in their post on the casting of Meloni that    ”According to executive producer Alan Ball, the former Law & Order: SVU front man will play, ”An ancient, powerful vampire who holds the fate of Bill and Eric in his hands.” link

HBO announced that the fourth series of the True Blood comics will be released in May. ”True Blood” ongoing series has revealed the full creative team on “True Blood” Series 4. The ongoing will be written by “Green Arrow” writer Ann Nocenti and “True Blood” actor Michael McMillian with creative collaboration from “True Blood” producer Alan Ball and art by Michael Gaydos.

IDW announced the True Blood ongoing series in late 2011. This follows three mini-series based on the television show: “True Blood: All Together Now”, “True Blood: Tainted Love” (images shown below) and “True Blood: The Fourth Quarter”.

True-blood.net posted a casting news for season 5 of True Blood. Their source states that Jacob Hopkins will play the vampire “Alexander” an Authority panel member.

The casting call stated for his character:

[ALEXANDER] 9 years old. An impetuous young vampire who was turned at the age of 9, he’s an Authority council member who loves cigarettes and razzing his fellow council members…RECURRING link here:

Such an angelic face on what may be a very non-angelic vampire! Can’t imagine having a child turned into a vampire. His character is set to be in episode 5.02 “Authority always wins” according to the casting call. Waiting sucks!

Eonline teased fans with the title “A New Couple on True Blood”? This is not a new spoiler but they talked with Alexander Skarsgard as part of the press tour  for “Battleship” recently:

This is really not a “new” spoiler. Yet it does give fans another chance to wonder what will the “vamp dynamic duo” be like in season 5. I’m looking forward to seeing Eric Northman post amnesia and perhaps not having to kowtow to Bill in season 5. Still up in the air whether Bill will retain his title of King of Louisiana. (pretty sure the title was taken away by the Authority since they put out a death sentence for both Bill and Eric).

So what do you think of the “bromance” budding in season 5? I know I am getting tired of the whole romantic “triangle” that keeps being forced upon True Blood fans.
