The new cover for Charlaine Harris’ book “Deadlocked” has surfaced! The newest installment of the Sookie Stackhouse Novels will be released May 2012. Based on the cover art what do you think we will see? Seems that the cluviel d’or will be used in this book. The cover art also shows some werewolves. Interesting that there are no vampires on this cover? Waiting sucks!! The book is available for pre-order.

Ur right!! No vampires….but I do see bats!!!
but hopefully, there will be no mention of the vampires turning into bats in this book…that would really spoil the look of the whole species at least in the Sookie series…and to be honest, I can’t imagine Eric/Alex turning into a bat! that would just be wrong!
Yes I saw the bats!! I wonder if that is a ‘symbolic’ mention to them? yes I saw the cluviel d’or-seems that Sookie is being beamed somewhere? Seeing the 2 wolves was interesting as well. I need to take another look and see what else is going on. the house looks very different to me as well. thanks for commenting! Strange not seeing any vampires on the cover but werewolves instead! I can’t help but wonder if the letter in her hand is a message for Niall since she now knows where the portal is? I hated how DR ended but I could understand both Sookie’s and Eric’s reactions to killing Victor. Plus, the added pressure of the marriage contract and Felipe’s reaction if he’s even still alive we haven’t seen him since book 8 right? I also wonder if Amelia’s big mouth about the bond being broken has been spread the supe grapevine is worse than TMZ! !
She was at a supe bar when telling Alcide and his reaction to Sookie blowing him off was idk?? Sookie has a full plate on her hands I love Dermot I would love for him to be on her side and help her if the ‘riff raff’ at Hooligan’s start something.
Not seeing a vampire on the cover got me as well! Most of the last books had one of the vamps on there with Sookie. I did not think of the message for Niall in the letter! Great idea! Yes the portal is one of the thoughts I had as well. The way she is hovering makes me wonder if she is being beamed over to Niall somehow. Love the idea also how Amelia may have snitched on the broken bond-wow I hope that the King does not know that (he seemed kinda interested in Sookie!!) Thank you for commenting! Another thing is I can’t help but wonder if Jannalynn would rat out Sookie for killing Sandra? I know she’s not very fond of Sookie because Sam is crushing on her as well as Alcide! It could turn a pack against her or maybe blackmail her into being their shaman even if she is a “friend of the pack” is that far fetched? I read way to much fanfiction to fill the gaps between books! What do you think? Oh, I have a question maybe you’ll remember when exactly did Amelia start hating Eric? I know he told Sookie she’s always wanted them apart but I’m drawing a blank??
